Appointment of Neil Winn as permanent principal of Murrayfield
31 October 2018
Dear parent/carer
Appointment of Neil Winn as permanent principal of Murrayfield
I am very pleased to announce that Neil Winn has been appointed as Murrayfield Primary’s permanent principal.
Neil became interim principal in June last year following the death of Amanda Phillips. He took on his new role quickly and effectively, helping the Murrayfield community get over the shock of Amanda’s loss. Since then, he has worked hard to improve the school’s teaching and results while delivering the excellent education that every pupil deserves.
The board of directors ran a full recruitment process to select the permanent principal for Murrayfield and, based on that process, Neil was their unanimous choice. We are confident that Murrayfield will continue to go from strength to strength under Neil’s leadership.
I hope you will join me in congratulating Neil on his appointment.
Yours faithfully
Bill Holledge
