‘Moving up day’
Wednesday 17th July will be this year’s “Moving Up Day”. This day gives pupils the opportunity to meet and work with, where possible, their teacher for next academic year.
Pupils will line up in their current classes, in their normal position, at the beginning of the day. Once registered we will have a short assembly from which they will join their class for next year. Pupils will be dismissed from the position in the playground which they will use next year. (Present Year R will be dismissed from the KS1 playground, present Year 2 from the KS2 playground.)
Pupils who would normally have PE or swimming (current Years R, 3 and 4) on Wednesday will still have those lessons so need to bring their kit.
