Sports Day: KS2

On Friday 28th June, Paradigm Trust will be holding its annual sports day at Ipswich Academy. Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 students from Murrayfield Primary Academy will be involved and be will representing their class throughout the day. Pupils will be leaving MPA at 09:00 and will return for the end of the day at 15:05.

Students are expected to come to school in their school PE kit, which is black shorts/tracksuit bottoms, white PE shirt and suitable trainers. Students are not allowed to come in their own sportswear or be wearing jewellery. Pupils with long hair must ensure that it is tied back. These are our standard expectations in PE.

Students must ensure they bring enough water with them. Please note that fizzy drinks are not permitted. Students will be responsible for their own belongings, so we recommend that no valuables are brought to school. We would also advise all students to bring a hat and sun cream. All children need a packed lunch. Children entitled to free school meals will be provided with a packed lunch.

Parents of the Murrayfield Primary Academy are welcome to attend the morning events (9:30am-12:30pm), although there will be limited numbers of sports day tickets available. Please note that if you wish to attend on the day only adults with a sports day ticket will be allowed entrance. Please send a note to the school office where your name will be put in a hat. Those who are randomly selected will be informed if they have a ticket. Parents will have to make their own seating arrangements in the designated area near to the athletics track.
