Principal’s Welcome

Dear Parents/Carers,

The past half term has flown by and we are heading into the last half of the Spring term with hopefully some drier and more Spring like weather!

The children have been really busy since January – they have all been really creative during their art weeks and you may have seen some of their creations on our social media pages and in this newsletter.

Our school choir visited the 02 in London on 23rd January and took part in the Young Voices concert. They all had a fantastic time representing the school at this event.

I hope you enjoy reading what our children have been doing this half term and wish you all a restful break.

We look forwards to seeing the children back in school on Monday 23rd February 2026.

Kind regards
Claire

Singing Superstars

On Friday 23rd January, 30 of our choir students had the amazing opportunity of performing at the O2 Arena in London for Young Voices 2026. They have practised each week since September and really showed confidence in their singing of over 13 songs, including a disco medley!

It was a very long day but everyone enjoyed themselves and put in 100% effort to their performance. Well done to all of the children that attended, we are very proud of you!

Nut Free School

A polite reminder that we are a nut free school, therefore please do not send your children into school with anything that may contain nuts – including chocolate spreads such as Nutella.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Dropping off and collecting children

School Collection Time

Please could we kindly remind parents/carers that the end of the school day is 3.15pm. Please could you ensure, where possible, that children are collected at this time and not prior to the end of the school day. We have had an increasing number of children being collected from 2.30pm onwards over the past few weeks and therefore children are missing valuable lesson time.

Playground Etiquette at Drop off and Collection Times

Please could we politely remind adults that drop off and collect children to be mindful of the language used in our playground, particularly around our children. We would also ask that any smoking/vaping is done away from the school site and gates.

Bicycles

Bicycles should be walked through the playground for everyone’s safety. Please could we also remind you that dogs are not allowed in the playground and should be kept away from the dates.
