Principal’s Welcome
Dear parent/carer,
I cannot believe we are now heading into the last part of the summer term. There will be lots of exciting things happening after half term and communications will be sent to you in due course with arrangements for events such as sports day and the summer concert.
I would like to start with congratulating our Year 6 children on their hard work during the lead up to their SATS and the actual tests themselves. We are all very proud of you.
We hope you enjoy reading the updates from our year groups.
Wishing you a restful half term and we look forwards to seeing the children back in school on Monday 1 June.
Yours faithfully
Claire Willis

Dropping off and collecting children
School Collection Time
Please could we kindly remind parents/carers that the end of the school day is 3.15pm. Please could you ensure, where possible, that children are collected at this time and not prior to the end of the school day. We have had an increasing number of children being collected from 2.30pm onwards over the past few weeks and therefore children are missing valuable lesson time.
Playground Etiquette at Drop off and Collection Times
Please could we politely remind adults that drop off and collect children to be mindful of the language used in our playground, particularly around our children. We would also ask that any smoking/vaping is done away from the school site and gates.
Bicycles
Bicycles should be walked through the playground for everyone’s safety. Please could we also remind you that dogs are not allowed in the playground and should be kept away from the dates.
INSET Days for this term are:
- Monday 13th April
- Monday 20th July
Pupils should not attend school on these days.
The first day back for pupils after the Easter holidays is Tuesday 14th April 2026.
The first day back after May half term for pupils is Monday 1st June 2026.
(Full term dates for staff: 13th April – 20th July.)
